Bayonetta 2 a Nintendo Exclusive, here is what you can do…

If you are one of the many that felt “burned”, “betrayed”, or whatever you feel about the Bayonetta 2 being a WiiU exclusive, here is how you can show them your feelings with your wallet AND enjoy the game :D .

Who said showing them with your wallet means not buying the game and not be able to enjoy the game? Dont’ listen to the Nitendo Fanboys who never even played the first one.

Here are the simple steps to “get back” at PG and Ninty for being a prick. Since we know Bayonetta 2 isn’t launch title, nor does it even have a date yet, you can:

1. Buy the WiiU USED when Bayonetta 2 is about to release so that Nintendo don’t get a CENT for your purchase.
2. Buy Bayonetta 2 USED (you’ll see it in a week) so that PG isn’t going to get a CENT for your purchase.
3. Play and enjoy the game (if it’s any good) knowing that you never officially supported Nintendo/PG.
4. …
5. PROFIT! (and feel good) :D

I encourage you spread this message out to everybody who is in “despair” over the Bayonetta 2 announcement, and hope this could help them sleep easier at night. (No sarcasm intended).

How would I know you’ll be able to get Bayonetta 2 used in a week? There will be people picking this game up for their kid/selfs who would instantly be disgusted for what’s in the game. Hyper-sexual, and serious religious references — all of which is super duper taboo in the United States. :D

This will be the first and LAST post of this blog. Peace! Guess not the first/last. Just so much lovely and endearing responses. Hope to see more! :D

grow up dude. Just because it wasn`t released on your console. stop whining. Sony and MS could have paid for the exclusivity but did they?

That’ll show em. Bayonetta 2 was originally cancelled due to not being able to fund it, so how do we stick it to Nintendo for reviving Bayonetta 2? We don’t support it. That’s the smart thing to do. And by smart, I mean so idiotic it’s the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

So not wanting to pay 6 times the normal price for the only game you want that is only on a particular console is idiotic?

This is utterly disgusting that this has come this far. What kind of gamers would do things to the games industry and the developers themselves? This is just shallow, no dignity what so ever.

At the end of the day, you guys can complain all you want but the truth is I’m going to be playing the game that you guys want to.

    1. If you like Bayonetta so much why not buy it new so Platinum gets more money to make future, multi-platform Bayonetta games? It’s not like Nintendo owns the rights to Bayonetta 3, 4, 5, etc.

    2. I have a Wii U Pre-Order, will buy Bayonetta 2 on day one and beat the first one. So where do I fit?

    3. Why can’t the Wii U have the game? What is the big deal? Are other people (future Wii U owners and the Nintendo audience) not entitled to good games? Why are you so special that you must have it on a non-Nintendo system?

Just a few questions, not trying to sound rude or hostile but I just don’t understand some things over this backlash.

  5. Seriously?

So ANYONE who owns a Nintendo console or wants a Wii U, automatically makes them solely a Nintendo Fanboy, therefore, have never played Bayonetta or are unworthy to play it?

    lol /logic

Don’t support PG with your wallet, and buy it used? Lol that’ll show them. Good luck with Bayonetta 3 then. Or now since its on a “kiddy” console, is it not a real sequel?

    lmao never mind NOW /logic

Sony and Microsoft said no to Bayonetta 2, while Nintendo said yes, Sega canceled it and Nintendo brought it back, people have to get over it being exclusive, think how Kingdom Hearts fans feel, seriously.

Can’t you see how pathetic it is?

Thanks to Nintendo to give us the chance to play Bayonetta 2, because the game has been cancelled by SEGA.

As a fan you should be grateful and do not want the game never have existed because that was what would happen with Bayonetta 2 if Nintendo had not been interested in the franchise.
You are not a fan of Bayonetta. In the end, you shames us all.

    BAWWW NINTENDO IS KIDDY, I WON’T LOOK COOL IF I HAVE A WIIU AND MY FRIENDS WILL MAKE FUN OF ME ;_;

You poor baby, what does it feel now having money of your own? Maybe if you asked daddy really hard, he would throw money at your face so you leave him the fuck alone.

Love how you say “Dont’ listen to the Nitendo Fanboys who never even played the first one” like that is a fact, then “There will be people picking this game up for their kid/selfs who would instantly be disgusted for what’s in the game. Hyper-sexual, and serious religious references — all of which is super duper taboo in the United States. ”

Hun, we’re not in the 1980s anymore. There’s lots of parents with kids who own a 360/PS3 that may have bought the original for them… Why apply to WiiU as a sole fact. Weak argument.

    Get over it.

So, your response for showing your anger over Nintendo getting an exclusive title on a console you don’t want, is to buy the console and the game?

You do know that places have ALREADY ran out of pre-orders on the system, meaning it’ll likely be a year or two before there are even a reliable amount of NEW systems just like the Wii, much less used ones, right?

This by far is of the most childish rants I have ever read.

Yea, its a great idea to not support the console and company that’s bringing you the game you want. WRONG

It also a wonderful idea to not support the developers for all the time and effort they made creating a franchise and series you like. WRONG AGAIN

Funny, because it was ok when Sony took Final Fantasy 7 away from Nintendo even though it was in development for N64 first right. Or the fact they also pulled away Metal Gear, Dragon Quest, Mega Man, Street Fighter etc which were all on Nintendo platforms first. But if Nintendo pulls away a franchise its the end of the world. The same babies were crying when Wii took Monster Hunter Tri from PS3. But as long as Sony does it its ok, if Nintendo does it its not good.

Or how about MS who pays for games like Mass Effect 1 to be console exclusive. That’s ok right? Or that they do timed exclusive content in games like COD or GTA? And speaking of GTA, Sony had that series on lockdown for years…and then MS payed their way in….but Nintendo never got oneon a home console but that’s ok too right?

The reason you buy a console is because it has games you want. That’s the point of supporting a console. Not being a jaded fanboy and crying and ranting because you didn’t get it the way you expected on an older system. Stop being cheap and support the series you love…..buy a Wii-U and buy the game. And 2 million were sold of the first game between two consoles…..that’s horrible sales. If you estimate 1 mill each for 360 and ps3……that means about 59 million people on each console could care less about it.

Free publicity for the Wii U and Bayonetta 2 is always welcome, and you are doing it prefectly well. Now people will be curious about what’s so great about the first Bayonetta that made Nintendo’s announcement yesterday a big controversy, and controversy sells. Gamers that never played the first game will purchase it, and will probably be wanting to buy the sequel on whatever console it may be, even the Wii U.

About the used sales boycott, in order to buy the console and the game USED, most people must have bought them NEW. And, if the used game gets out of stock, then the consumer will be forced to buy them new, increasing again their support for Nintendo and Platinum Games.

So thank you for this great initiative to raise awareness to the people to buy two great games and a new console “the right way”.

Thank you for bringing the public’s attention to this matter. Because of your protest, more people will hear about the Wii U and Bayonetta 2, and as a result, more people will buy them. We very much appreciate your efforts.

Yes because telling people to waste $350 on system and game to stop Nintendo is totally gonna work. I’m gonna buy a NEW Wii U, a NEW copy of Bayonetta 2, and what are you gonna do? Waste your life trying to stop a multimillion-dollar company from being successful. Yeah why don’t you just enjoy the games given to you? Why do people have to complain because a game you want is on a system you don’t prefer? Because of ignorance and butthurt. You can see that each system has its strengths and flaws. There really is nothing wrong with Bayonetta 2 on the Wii U. It’s going to play almost exactly like it would if it were on a PS3 or 360. Me being a true gamer, playing with Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo’s systems, I can say that people like you going to great lengths to stop something you clearly cannot stop, are on another different level of idiocy. How about you actually play the system if it’s good. It’s a shame that people like you play a game and not support the people who worked their asses off, even exist because of you’re hatred toward Nintendo. You should be thankful that Nintendo is here. Without them you wouldn’t even have gotten Bayonetta 1. Disgusting disgusting disgusting

Why can’t it come out on the xbox and ps3 like the first one was. SHUT THE HELL UP!!! Nintendo is the one that saved part 2 if it wasn’t for them it would never have seen the light of day.so all you little elitist fanboy that has nothing better to do than complain just to complain. I hope you like seeing your “beloved” franchise die if you keep this up.

Sega didn’t want to touch Bayonetta because they had no faith in it or Platinum. Sony and Microsoft didn’t want it either probably for the same reason. If it wasn’t for Nintendo giving it a chance this game wouldn’t even exist. Considering this, I’m not sure why you want to “get back” at Nintendo or Platinum.

well this is a pretty stupid idea, while im not very happy about the exclusivity (i enjoyed the game on my ps3) im happy that the game will be released after all, after those rumours of being cancelled, anyway i was planing on getting a wiiu in the future before the announcement, is not big deal, if you want so bad a game and is exclusive, save enough money and buy it

It’s part of life, and who knows, maybe if people buy used Wii U, they could fall in love with the console.

” Damn, well perhaps I will buy it on the XBox”
Sony and Microsoft users don’t get that ONE title that looks nice on the Wii U:
Let’s boycot this game (he says with tears across his face)

This takes the term “pathetic” to a whole new level

And you think people will sell the game when they realize they’re sexual references in the game? It might be a possible argument if it weren’t for the fact that THERE IS A RATINGS STICKER IN THE CORNER OF THE BOX FRONT AND BACK (Depending on the region) STATING WHAT THE GAME DOES AND DOESN’T HAVE IN TERMS OF OBJECTIONABLE MATERIAL

I am saying people will sale the game just because they want to sell their game… You can find used copy of ANY game even if it’s a AAA title. THERE WILL BE people selling it and so there WILL BE used copy. There is no why, and how, it just exists.

I hope you like Bayonetta 2 then, because if you buy it like this then you will never see anything for Platinum games again. You’re all stupid, stupid people who have no idea how this works and THIS is the kind of shit that is destroying the industry and flooding it with Call of Duty and its clones.
    tl;dr Fuck off.

I have to disagree. People buying Call of duty flood the market will call of duty. If you want less or more high quality stuff thats not call of duty, then convince people not to buy it.

The only way this would work is if people bought those things in the first place.
The Wii-U might be really good, who knows. I’m just worried it wouldn’t be able to keep up with the new Xbox or PS4 and that it won’t get all the games that are on one or the other.
I’m also not a big fan of the game pad, which i would never use, especially for a game like Bayonetta, i want to actually see whats going on.
I’m still not paying $400 for a single game though, and seeing as i buy most of my games for pc, it would basically be a large money sink to buy the console for one game.
